Seared Sesame-crusted Tuna

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 x 200 g tuna (fresh or out of the freezer)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1-1,5 tablespoon of honey
  • 1-2 tabelspoons of soy sauce
  • fresh black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried coriander
  • sesame seeds
  • 300 g brocolli

 

Directions:

  1. Mix the olive oil, honey, soy sauce, black pepper, coriander and the ginger.
  2. Poor the mix over the tuna steaks and put 3o minutes in the fridge.
  3. Turn the tuna steaks so all the steak in covered by the mix & put again 30 minutes in the fridge.
  4. Steam or boil the broccoli.
  5. Take the tuna out of the fridge, put the tuna on a new plate and cover all sides with the sesame seeds.
  6. Bake / grill the tuna steaks each sides for a few minutes.
  7. Put the broccoli & tuna on a plate.
